Meet Azizi, the Brave Little Survivor!  Once upon a time, in a world too overwhelmed with cats, there lived a tiny 4-week-old kitten named Azizi. She was just one of many in a hoarding situation, where the love and care every kitten deserves had sadly gone missing. Due to the neglect, a simple eye infection turned into a heartbreaking series of events, leading to the rupture of both her eyes.  However, fate had other plans for Azizi. Rescued by our dedicated team at Save the Kitties, she found herself in the loving hands of our president and founder. For weeks, she received round-the-clock care, gentle cuddles, and all the medical attention she desperately needed.  As Azizi grew stronger and larger, the day finally came for her enucleation surgery. The staff at the vet clinic were captivated by her spirit, and they rallied around her with warm hearts and eager hands. Everyone adored this little warrior, and her resilience inspired all who met her.  After her surgery, Azizi didn’t just survive; she thrived! She was soon adopted by a compassionate assistant at the clinic, who instantly saw the spark within her. Now affectionately renamed Stevie Rae, she stepped into her new life filled with love and adventure. Stevie Rae quickly learned to navigate the world using her other senses to her advantage. She loves napping with her mom after a long day of playful exploration, seeking out anything that jingles to keep her entertained. Whether it’s chasing after a toy or simply enjoying the warmth of a sunny spot, Stevie Rae embraces life with joy and determination!  Today, Stevie Rae teaches us all an essential lesson: Strength comes in many forms, and love can heal even the deepest wounds.
